33 39 113 | Why We Celebrate Labor Day in September and Not May; the Haymarket Affair

On May 4, 1886, a peaceful protest for an 8-hour work day came to a violent conclusion when a piece of dynamite was thrown at police by an "unidentified party".  The dynamite is said to have killed seven police and injured four more people.  The tragedy is remembered as the "Haymarket Affair".
  • May 4, 1886 = 5+4+1+8+8+6 = 32 (America = 32)
  • May 4, 1886 = 5+4+18+86 = 113
  • Haymarket = 8+1+7+4+1+9+2+5+2 = 39
  • Haymarket = 8+1+25+13+1+18+11+5+20 = 102 (United States of America = 102)
  • Police = 7+6+3+9+3+5 = 33
And let us recall the significance of '86.
  • Symbol = 86
  • Triangle = 86
  • Pyramid = 86
  • Republic = 86
At this point in history an official holiday to recognize labor was in the works, and some parties wanted the holiday in the fifth month May, while others wanted it in the ninth month September.  After the Haymarket Affair, and with the help of a movement known as the "Knights of Labor", the holiday was settled on for the first week of September.
  • Knights = 2+5+9+7+8+2+1 = 34/43
  • of = 6+6 = 12
  • Labor = 3+1+2+6+9 = 21
  • Knights of Labor = 67/76
  • Work = 23+15+18+11 = 67
It was President Cleveland who signed Labor Day into existence.
  • Knight = 2+9+5+7+8+2 = 33
  • Cleveland = 3+3+5+4+5+3+1+5+4 = 33
  • Labor Day = 3+1+2+6+9+4+1+7 = 33
Like May Day, Labor Day is a "6-name".
  • May Day = 4+1+7+4+1+7 = 24, reduces to 6
  • Labor Day = 33 = 3+3 = 6; 24 = 2+4 = 6

Last, let us examine the date of the first 'Labor Day Parade', September 5, 1882.
  • 9/5/1882 = 9+5+18+82 = 114
  • 9/5/1882 = 9+5+1+8+8+2 = 33
  • 9/5/82 = 9+5+82 = 96
  • Freemason = 96
  • Satanism = 96
  • Knowledge = 96
  • One = 6+5+5 = 16
  • Hundred = 8+3+5+4+9+5+4 = 38
  • Fifty = 6+9+6+2+7 = 30
  • Three = 2+8+9+5+5 = 29
  • One Hundred Fifty Three = 113
"One hundred fifty three" fish in the "miraculous catch".
Miraculous = 4+9+9+1+3+3+3+6+3+1 = 42

  1. That labor day dates back to 1886 was not in my school books. Thank you.

  2. With the German term, Tag der Arbeit, it works only with reducing the numbers to 11.

    2+1+7 + 4+5+9 + 1+9+2+5+9+2 = 56 = 11
