The use of the term "hacked" in connection to blogger and the internet leads me to think maybe hoax. But then, no one does care when someone gets hurt or attacked, especially online because there is such a sense of unreality. I remember watching a movie on tv when I was a kid- maybe early 1970s where there were all these people in their 20s sitting by a river eating and talking. One of them was on the river's edge and fell off into the river and was carried away. Everyone just sort of looked for a second then went back to what they were doing . No one tried to help. At the time I thought it was so scary, it was meant to be set in the future. Now I realize it was predictive programming for what the world has become. I wish I could remember the name of the movie.
