Meanwhile in Washington State, where it is normally raining on the daily, we have been in drought for a considerable time, and the weather resembles Arizona much more than it does Washington. For the first time in my life, there was no snow skiing season in the Pacific Northwest this past season, and also, for the first time in my lifetime, my yard is burning up in May... unheard of.
On April 13, 2012 it hailed so much it created four foot high drifts in Texas.
